Pharmacist-owners are both business people and healthcare providers. Managing these priorities while juggling work-life balance can often make it feel like something has to give. 


Theresa Kinch, Pharmacist-owner at Blooms The Chemist Windsor Marketplace, started at Blooms as an intern and has been part of the network for over 17 years. 


As a pharmacy owner and mother, balancing business administration tasks such as book-keeping, payroll and placing individualised orders was initially time consuming for Theresa.  



“As a mum of two, time is precious. I used to spend my days off buried in invoices and payroll. With Blooms, payroll is simple and I can focus on patients and still have time with my kids,” said Theresa. 




She says the Blooms network provided her with a better understanding of retail operations and how to utilise store data. This helped her to make strategic decisions that benefitted the business, and in turn, gave her more time for patient care and her personal life.
